ANNUAL PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Why?
Performing the prescribed annual maintenance improves equipment reliability, extending the life of your important investment.
In addition, by helping to identify problems before they become an issue, this strategic, regular maintenance allows for early troubleshooting that can save costly repairs later.
These annual maintenance inspections generally require about 90 minutes to complete and include a written detailed report.
GENERAC ® WARRANTY WORK/REPAIRS
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- With a valid GENERAC ® warranty, you purchased peace of mind. The warranty timeline BEGINS with the date your GENERAC ® was activated.
- Should an equipment issue arise with your GENERAC ® air-cooled, home standby generator, its repair may be covered under the manufactures warranty. Warranty coverage may be whole or partial, depending on individual circumstances.
- Regular maintenance is key to maintain your generator’s warranty.
- Keep all of your annual maintenance records, including any receipts, to prove compliance with this important warranty requirement.
Genkoh Maintenance Inc. is an authorized GENERAC® service Dealer. Genkoh Maintenance Inc. is equipped with its own inventory of parts to promptly repair your GENERAC ® air-cooled home standby generator.
START-UP/COMMISSIONING SERVICES
Prior to putting your new GENERAC ® air-cooled home standby generator in service, and to ensure optimal performance of your generator, we use an external load bank connected to the generator to perform various tests.
This test should be performed BEFORE your home is put onto the generator’s back-up power supply system.
Performing a load bank test ensures the output voltage, current, fuel pressure and other settings are tested at various load levels.
This can help identify problems and we can make adjustments that will help prevent unpleasant surprises when the generator is required to operate under full load condition in a real emergency.
CONSULTING
While Genkoh Maintenance Inc. does not sell home stand-by generators, for a nominal fee, we can go to your home and evaluate your needs to determine the appropriate size GENERAC® home stand-by generator you require.
This in-person assessment will include information on unit sizing, placement, propane tank placement/location, fuel consumption, accessories, installation costs etc…
We’ll discuss GENERAC® accessories that can be installed at or near the electrical distribution panel to enable the installation of a smaller unit; all without compromising essential house devices or appliances that could be on emergency power.
Your existing electrical distribution will be inspected to assess the best location for the transfer switch and whether it should be outdoors or indoors.
Once the assessment is completed, you will have all of the necessary information to make an informed decision and thereafter you could communicate with various local installers to have the project implemented.
